[WiFiCoop] Fwd: help with the wifi

Hi all, I'm having troubles using the wifi coop, at some point in the past it worked for me but a couple of days ago I brought my laptop to the boat again and nothing. 
 
 I don't get the login page, I only get the typical "not found" error page when ever I try any web address. My pop-up stoper is off, so it should be allowing pop-ups. 
 This is a win2000 machine and when I run ipconfig on a command shell I get:
 
 Connection-specific DNS Suffix:  
 
 Auto configuration IP Address:     169.254.157.156  
 Subnet Mask  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .  .: 255.255.0.0  
 Default Gateway:  
 
        so no Default Gateway or DNS Suffix.   
 
 When I try typing ipconfig /renew it stalls for a while and then says something like "DHCP  server unreacheable"
 
     I do see the byc-bm network, but I noticed the day before yesturday I was seeing the byc-bm-n instead. The radio reception shows as "marginal" sometimes and "good" sometimes. 
 
 Any help will be very appreciated.
